Don Caruso-Approved Stallion

Don Caruso

Description:  Chestnut with right hind sock also has a star and small strip. Stands at 16.3 hands.

Oak Hill Ranch is proud to offer breedings to mare owners who desire bloodlines which are proven and popular.  Don Caruso’s sire and sire’s sire are both of the very highest calibre.  Don Schufo is an Olympic medal winner and his sire, Donnerhall, is one of the most influential horses in dressage breeding.  The important dam line is powerful as well.  Don Caruso’s dam’s sire, Bolero, produced three descendants that medaled in the Athens Olympics, including the well known Brentina ridden by American Debbie McDonald.  Don Caruso sired the 2010 Gold and Silver Medal Dressage Young Horse Champions in Herning, Denmark.  At the National Stallion Show in Herning, Denmark, Don Caruso was Reserve Champion as a 3 and 4 year old.  His grading scores then were 8 for walk, 8 for trot, 9 for canter, and 9 for overall impression. He was awarded a silver breeder’s medal.

He produces rideability with modern refinement.

Don Caruso is approved Danish Warmblood and German Oldenburg Verband.
